The Christmas present

Joseph was behind his father’s coffin, walking solemnly towards his grave. He’d been a good father for him, except for one shadow. When he was six, he asked the Three Wise Men for a Play Station. When the great day arrived, all he had was a globe to study geography.

Great expectations

He’d been studying hard for a year. There were only three posts and more than 300 people who wanted them. The day of the exam arrived and everything turned out very well. He had done his best. He suffered from optimism, but there were other 300 optimistic people expecting, too.
