Monotony


“I love you, but I’m not just mad about you”, she said. She had known what being mad about a man was. She didn’t want to be a fraud to him, but feeling her heart beating for him again. Indifference, boredom and silences were dying their relationship. She left home.

The Algerian patient


A young Algerian was in bed, unconscious. The young nurse couldn’t help feeling sorry for him. She entered the room, approached to him, raised her arms, the palms towards the patient’s head, and told him: “Come to life, struggle to live”. Then she thought “But he can’t understand Spanish!”
